The Jefferson Parish Council approved a Resolution, authored by Councilman Deano Bonano, approving a cooperative endeavor between Cornerstone, Fuji, IMTT and Jefferson Parish for the rehabilitation and revitalization of the North Avondale Park. Each company has each pledged a monetary contribution to the parish that will be specifically earmarked for the park project.
