SpartanNash donated and delivered non-perishable food items and over 1,000 cases of bottled water to Cornerstone Energy Park following the devastating impact of Hurricane Ida. This generous donation assisted employees at Cornerstone Energy Park and our neighbors in the surrounding community. Cornerstone volunteers spent the day packaging these items into Cornerstone Care Packages to distribute to employees and residents of the local community.

Cornerstone partnered with Turner Industries to provide cleanup support to our Cornerstone employees who were impacted by Hurricane Ida. The cleanup support included removing trees, tarping roofs, gutting houses, and providing additional services necessary for employees with damaged property.

Throughout the recovery process of Hurricane Ida, Cornerstone provided on-site resources for employees including laundry services, portable restrooms, portable shower facilities, a fueling station, and fresh food services on-site through our partnership with Fresh Market by Premier. We are thankful for our dedicated employees who worked hard during the recovery process.

Waggaman, Louisiana, August 24, 2021 - Cornerstone Chemical Company today announced a price increase for Melamine. Effective October 1, 2021, or as contracts allow, Melamine prices will increase by $0.40/lb. ($881.84/MT).
