At Cornerstone, we believe responsible corporate citizenship means actively working to make the community a better place to live and work. We support a variety of educational and mentoring programs, contribute time and money to a wide range of local charities, sponsor community events and conduct outreach programs among our neighbors.
It is a priority to keep our local community and neighbors informed of our operations. To accomplish this, we have established a community advisory panel (CAP) made up of local community leaders and neighbors. The CAP’s mission is to maintain a dialog with neighbors and local citizens about plant operations. Cornerstone representatives also attend local civic meetings to keep residents updated.
Educational programs, especially science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education programs, are important to Cornerstone, and we strive to support local programs that inspire learning in these areas and help bolster our community’s workforce.
Today, our products are playing a critical role in the nation’s response to COVID-19. Our products are used in the manufacturing of disposable gloves, hospital gowns, toilet tissue, cleaning products and acrylic sheets that serve as physical protection barriers for workers and customers. Cornerstone products are essential to communities around the nation and are keeping people safe.
