Cornerstone provides reusable water bottles for Cherbonnier/Rillieux Elementary

Cornerstone provided 400 reusable water bottles for all of the students, staff and teachers at Cherbonnier/Rillieux Elementary school located in Waggaman. Students will safely use their water bottles instead of drinking from the school’s water fountains to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Cornerstone is recognized by the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce

Alicia Frazier with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce presented a certificate to Cornerstone to recognize our participation as a Champion Meal Sponsor of the 'Bites for Knights' program during COVID-19. Our participation in the program provided meals for frontline workers at West Jefferson Medical Center.

Cornerstone partnered with the Waggaman Civic Association to feed the District 3 police officers of Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. Cornerstone cooked 80 jambalaya lunches and the Waggaman Civic Association provided cake and bottled water.

Cornerstone feeds officers deployed to Lake Charles following Hurricane Laura

Cornerstone volunteers cooked and provided jambalaya for 300 to feed officers who were deployed to the Lake Charles area to assist with recovery efforts following Hurricane Laura. Volunteers distributed lunches at Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Training Academy to serve officers from Calcasieu, Jefferson, St. Charles and Lafourche Parishes to name a few.

Cornerstone donated back-to-school supplies for up to 20 students at Cherbonnier/Rillieux Elementary School located in Waggaman. The donated supplies included notebooks, folders, loose leaf, pencils, pens, crayons, glue, scissors, backpacks, nap mats and more.
