Cornerstone was recognized at the GNO Inc. WISE Women in STEM Closing Ceremony for hosting Women in STEM Day at Cornerstone Energy Park for the young women in the program to attend.

Cornerstone representatives attended the Louisiana Youth Seminar (LYS) closing banquet and had the opportunity to meet with the LYS students that Cornerstone sponsored to attend the weeklong leadership camp at LSU. LYS students participated in activities focusing on leadership skills, such as setting and achieving goals, effective communication skills, and team building. Cornerstone is proud to support the future leaders of Louisiana.

Cornerstone hosted the Greater New Orleans, Inc. (GNO Inc.) Women in the STEM Economy for a Women in STEM Day filled with presentations from various Cornerstone employees, local community colleges, and a tour of Cornerstone Energy Park. Cornerstone is committed to providing STEM education to the future leaders of our communities.

Cornerstone partnered with the New Orleans Saints to host a Cornerstone Reading Rally to promote the importance of education and reading to future generations. Volunteers assisted participants with a variety of reading activities related to the game of football, and each student had the chance to pick out a book to bring home.

Cornerstone was recognized as a Top 60 Sponsor of the United Way of Southeast Louisiana at the Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony. Cornerstone employees attended the event to honor Cornerstone's own, Jamie Allen, as she has been selected as a new member of the Board of Trustees for United Way. Our team was treated to breakfast and enlightened to the amazing work performed by United Way.

In our continued support of United Way, Cornerstone sponsored runners to participate in the annual United Way of St. Charles Bridge Run. Cornerstone employees also cooked and served jambalaya to runners during the post-race celebration. Special thanks to our employees, Sam Elliott and Ashley Hymel, for serving on the Bridge Run planning committee.

Cornerstone representatives attended the GNO, Inc. closing ceremony for the HBCU STEM Connect Summer Interns at Phelps Dunbar to honor the hard work of all the interns in the program. Cornerstone interns attended the event to celebrate their accomplishments.

Cornerstone sponsored the Young Leaders United lunch and learn with Dr. Takeisha Davis, president and CEO of New Orleans East Hospital. Dr. Davis expressed her career journey through the adversity of Hurricane Katrina and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cornerstone participated in the sixth annual St. Charles Parish First Responders Crawfish Cook-off. Cornerstone employees entered a team to cook crawfish for the festival supporting the first responders in our community. This beautiful day was filled with crawfish, live music, and lagniappe fixings.
