Cornerstone donated Cornerstone-branded tape measurers to the River Region Chamber of Commerce to include in the distributed swag bags to welcome the 232 new teachers in St. Charles Parish, St. James Parish, and St. John the Baptist Parish.

The luncheon brought local pastors, priests, and other ministry leaders to the campus for a tour, lunch and informational session in an effort to show community involvement and see what the campus has to offer.

Cornerstone hosted a Community Clean-Up Day to pick up trash on the levee and in the ditches in front of the plant along the River Road. The clean-up was followed by a lunch social for all volunteers. Thank you to all who participated.

Cornerstone's own, JoLena Broussard, participated in the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Jefferson Program. This nine-month program is designed to develop a diverse network of dedicated business and community leaders to resolve critical issues facing Jefferson Parish.
