Cornerstone hosted a Community Clean-Up Day to pick up trash on the levee and in the ditches in front of the plant along the River Road. The clean-up was followed by a lunch social for all volunteers. Thank you to all who participated.

Waggaman, Louisiana, May 25, 2021 - Cornerstone Chemical Company today announced a price increase for Melamine. Effective July 1, 2021, or as contracts allow, Melamine prices will increase by $0.20/lb. ($440.92/MT).

The Waggaman Community Foundation hosted Waggaman's Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Thomas Jefferson Park. Cornerstone employees participated and handed out 300 bags of candy to the children of the Waggaman community.

Cornerstone provided on-site COVID-19 vaccine administration available to employees, contractors, tenants and members of the local community who signed up. The staff at Jefferson Parish Emergency Management assisted with the administration of the vaccinations.

Cornerstone donated over 100 drawstring backpacks to Hahnville High School located in St. Charles Parish. The backpacks will be used to pack food items for the school's new food pantry program that is assisting students who are struggling with financial hardship.
