Matt joined Cornerstone Chemical Company as President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2024. He has over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry leading functional, operational, and business groups in addition to managing strategy and global mergers and acquisitions.
Matt joined Cornerstone from Hexion in Columbus, Ohio, where he held the role of Chief Operating Officer. Prior, he worked in various leadership roles with Chemtura Corporation (2005 – 2017). An attorney by training, he began his career with the Connecticut law firm of Tyler, Cooper and Alcorn, LLP. There, he focused on commercial and environmental litigation.
Matt received a Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law with a Certificate in Environmental Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York, College at Geneseo.
