Cornerstone representatives attended the 2022 'State of Jefferson Luncheon' hosted by the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. Attendees enjoyed lunch and listened to a presentation about the current state and future developments in Jefferson Parish.

During National Fire Prevention Month, Cornerstone hosted fire extinguishing training courses for employees. Participants watched a training video and had hands-on practice with a fire extinguisher.

Cornerstone representatives participated in the River Parishes Community College St. Charles Parish Campus Career Fair to speak with college students of RPCC, Hahnville High School, Destrehan High School, St. Charles Catholic High School, and more. Students had the chance to learn about the career opportunities that are available at Cornerstone.

Cornerstone's United Way Committee hosted a Jambalaya Cook-Off on-site and raised $6,482 for United Way. The day was filled with friendly competition, delicious jambalaya, and backyard games. Representatives from United Way of St. Charles and United Way of Southeast Louisiana were present to serve as our jambalaya judges. The United Way Committee partnered with Performance Contractors who provided additional food.

Cornerstone Chemical Company today announced a price increase for Melamine. Effective September 7, 2022, or as contracts allow, Melamine prices will increase by $0.40/Ib. ($881.85/MT). This price increase is subject to further upward adjustment at a later date based upon movements in key raw materials or market conditions.
