We’re proud to share that The Times-Picayune recently highlighted Cornerstone Chemical Company, LLC's September 2024 Back-to-School Supply and Uniform Drive, which supported hundreds of students across Jefferson and St. Charles parishes.
With $8,000+ contributed to provide school supplies and 130 uniforms, see how we helped local students start the academic year prepared for success.
This year’s Back-to-School Supply and Uniform Drive was made possible through the collective efforts of our Cornerstone Energy Park site companies and contractors: Cornerstone, CF Industries, UBE C1 Chemicals America, Inc. (UBE), and Gray Construction. Our collaboration worked to ensure students at schools like Cherbonnier-Rillieux Elementary, Emmett Gilbert School of Excellence, and Ralph J. Bunche Elementary received the necessary supplies to start the year strong.
These contributions went beyond the classroom, reaching community organizations like the Kennedy Heights Civic Association and Boutte public housing, to expand the drive’s positive impact throughout the region.
Supplies were delivered directly to students by employee ambassadors, reinforcing our belief that meaningful community support goes beyond financial contributions. It's about showing up, engaging, and making a difference in real time.
