We're thrilled to announce that The Times-Picayune recently featured Cornerstone Chemical Company, LLC for our collaborative efforts with the New Orleans Saints to inspire and educate young students in the Greater New Orleans area!

For over 70 years, Cornerstone has been a committed community partner in Waggaman and Jefferson Parish. We believe in investing in the future by supporting educational initiatives that empower young minds. Our partnership with the New Orleans Saints over the past three years has brought engaging STEM and Reading Rallies to local schools, benefiting more than 1,000 students from Jefferson Parish Schools.
One of our recent highlights was a Reading Rally on May 3 at the Saints' indoor practice facility. Approximately 150 students from Woodmere Elementary, C.T. Janet Elementary, and Cherbonnier/Rillieux Elementary participated in educational activities that emphasized reading, grammar, history, and comprehension.
The excitement was in the air as Saints' mascots Sir Saint and Gumbo joined the fun, making learning a thrilling experience.
In addition to reading, we've also focused on STEM education. On March 1, we hosted a STEM Rally that attracted over 120 students from Ralph J. Bunche Elementary and Cherbonnier/Rillieux Elementary. The event combined physical activities with lessons on physics, engineering, and math, illustrating how these subjects are integral to football.
The Saints Cheer Team led the students in warm-ups and stretches, adding a dynamic element to the educational experience.
Our dedication to education extends beyond these rallies. Each October, during Manufacturing Month, Cornerstone volunteers visit local schools to conduct hands-on science experiments, showcase products made from our chemicals, and guide students through problem-solving activities.
This past October, we were delighted to visit Cherbonnier/Rillieux Elementary and Emmett Gilbert School in Avondale, continuing our mission to inspire the next generation.
We also value supporting local educators and students. Cornerstone sponsors Teacher Appreciation Week, school festivals, and events and provides back-to-school supplies. Additionally, we offer holiday meals for faculty and staff, recognizing their hard work and dedication to our community.
We're incredibly proud of our partnership with the New Orleans Saints and our ongoing efforts to foster education and inspiration among young students. A big thank you to The Times-Picayune for highlighting our initiatives!
