Cornerstone statement regarding incident at Dyno Nobel on the Cornerstone Energy Park Site

The following is a statement regarding a recent incident at Cornerstone Energy Park. This was not a Cornerstone Chemical Company incident. The incident occurred at Dyno Nobel, a tenant company located on the Cornerstone Energy Park site in Waggaman.
Background Information
- On February 17 at approximately 4:30 a.m., Dyno Nobel’s plant experienced an operational event resulting in high noise levels and a localized fire.
- On-site emergency response teams responded to mitigate the incident.
- There are no reports of injuries, releases or offsite impacts; all personnel have been accounted for; and an all clear has been issued for the site.
- As a courtesy, on behalf of Dyno Nobel, Cornerstone activated its Safety Notification System to provide an update to all registered community members.
