Re: Force Majeure relating to Supply of Melamine
Dear Valued Customer:
This letter is to advise you that effective June 2, 2022, the following event beyond Cornerstone’s control is adversely impacting our ability to supply melamine to customers under contract(s) and purchase order(s).
Cornerstone hereby gives notice that this event excuses Cornerstone’s performance as a Force Majeure event. When coupled with the continuing effects of Hurricane Ida, we are unable to determine at this point exactly how long this Force Majeure event will continue but believe that we will resume deliveries after our melamine plant comes back online following completion of repairs expected to take approximately 25 days. Our sales manager will provide you with updates as more information becomes available.
We sincerely regret the inconvenience this causes your company. Please be assured that we have been working diligently to mitigate the effects of this event on your business and will continue to do so until normal operations resume.
